Angel Academe
Angel Academe was founded in 2014, with a mission to make angel investing easy, fun and rewarding for women - as well as men, who want to be part of a diverse network - and they invest in fast growing technology businesses with at least one woman on the founding team. Angel Academe believes the challenge ambitious female tech founders face in raising investment for growth is directly linked to the lack of investor diversity. Angel Academe investors are mainly, but not only, women. These include entrepreneurs, senior professionals, some with portfolio careers or on career breaks. They pool funds and resources to evaluate investment opportunities, make investments and support the entrepreneurs they back. Spinks will be promoting Angel Academe within our networks to help entrepreneurs take the next step and go on to make waves within the tech industry, and to promote angel investing to more senior women.
