<p><br /><strong>QA Engineer - SaaS Scale-up - Birmingham (Hybrid) - Up to £55K</strong></p><p><br />We are hiring for a QA Engineer to join a growing SaaS scale-up that is building modern, customer-focused software at pace.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves ensuring quality at every stage of the development lifecycle and wants to work with a passionate, high-performing engineering team.</p><p><br />In this role, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to make sure everything we ship is reliable, secure, and delivers a great experience for our users.</p><p>You will have ownership of testing strategies and play a key part in improving test automation and overall product quality.</p><h3>What you'll be doing:</h3><ul><li>Design and implement test plans for web applications and APIs</li><li>Build and maintain automated tests using Cypress and Jest</li><li>Test API endpoints and workflows using Postman and similar tools</li><li>Work with developers using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks</li><li>Collaborate on release processes and contribute to CI/CD improvements</li></ul><h3>Tech stack includes:</h3><ul><li>Cypress, Jest, Postman</li><li>React.js, TypeScript, modern JavaScript</li><li>CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and agile workflows</li></ul><h3>What we're looking for:</h3><ul><li>Experience working in a QA or test engineering role in a product-focused environment</li><li>Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks, ideally with Cypress and Jest</li><li>Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman</li><li>A good eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences</li><li>Comfortable working closely with developers and product teams in an agile setup</li></ul><p><br />This is a great chance to join a fast-moving company with a strong team culture, where quality really matters and your work will make a real difference.</p><p><br />If you are ready to take ownership of QA in a collaborative, product-focused environment, we would love to hear from you!</p>
