Transaction Monitoring Manager - Fully Remote - Contract

Outside IR35 - 6 Months

Spinks have partnered with an exciting, rapidly growing start-up in the B2B Luxury Retail space who are looking for an experienced Transaction Monitoring Manager to join them on an initial 6 month, contract basis.

As a Transaction Monitoring Manager, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding the organisation against fraudulent financial losses.

Your responsibilities:

• Build a transaction monitoring system & establish a baseline transaction monitoring system + rule engine
• Help design & build the rule engine to ensure effective flagging of suspicious, high risk transactions - ensuring proper balance of false positives + negatives
• Support in development of transaction monitoring system, processes & procedures
• Identify potential fraudulent activities, money laundering and other financial crimes

Your background:

• Degree in Finance/Economics or similar
• 6+ years' experience in transaction monitoring, financial crime systems or similar
• Proven experience within transaction monitoring systems, rule engine creation, fraud detection & other financial crime awareness
• Understanding of AML, CTF, KYC and similar

• £300 - 350/day
