Technical Account Lead
You will report into the Head of Digital Development and be responsible for the technical output of the maintenance team working on one of our key accounts. You will coordinate a team of multi-disciplined developers working on maintenance tasks and projects ensuring efficient and effective output.
You will be the client's first port of call for technical guidance and support, using your digital experience to find solutions and to make positive changes that drive forward the workflow and codebase.
Assess new tasks and provide appropriate and considered technical direction
Provide technical guidance to the account manager and client
Be responsible for the security of the system
Understand the technical challenges of the development team and work with them to find appropriate solutions that consider the bigger picture
Manage difficult conversations and provide the client with support and reassurance whilst finding solutions
Understand in a technical sense how the system hangs together and be able to make decisions based on this understanding
Be able to explain technical solutions in an easy-to-understand way
Be able to make developers understand business needs
Provide detailed responses to incidents and carry out remediations
Constantly look to optimise and improve the workflow of the team
Previous experience working in a Tech/Digital Consultancy or Agency
Experience managing developers and other technical members
Strong technical background
Working knowledge of PHP
High level of organisational skills.
