Software Engineering Manager | SEM | E-Commerce | Start-up | Agile Coach | Scrum Master | Lisbon, Portugal - initially remote

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Engineering Manager looking to join a fast-paced, high-growth tech start-up. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a global and ambitious print-on-demand business that enables entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes to sell customised merchandise online.

A company is on a mission to empower entrepreneurs and become the world's leading Print on Demand business! Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, the role is initially remote - however, the role will be on-site in Lisbon, Portugal!

Business is transitioning from a start up to a scale up, are close to a 100 person head count and have office in Lisbon, London, Russia and Vietnam.

This role represents an opportunity to join a high-growth VC backed business where professional growth and development is guaranteed.

You must have:

*Previous experience in a hands-on technical role
*Experience introducing or improving in place Agile methodologies, such as XP/Scrum/Kanban (ideally Certified Scrum Master or similar)
*Experienced in working in an environment that champions a DevOps mindset, Continuous Integration, and Delivery.
*System architecture (intermediate capability)
*Experience in both inheriting and building software engineering teams, and growing and optimizing them
*Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful project throughout its lifecycle
*Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Monday.com)
*Designing, delivering, scaling and supporting internet-scale consumer-facing (eCommerce) software
*Providing mentoring, coaching and training to junior staff, and identifying next-generation leaders
*Agile Project Management training and certification(s) - ideally being a Certified Scrum Master
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
