Senior Platform Engineer - REMOTE (2 days on client site per week) - Manchester City Centre
Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer REMOTE - Permanent - Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform , CI/CD, - required to join a rapidly expanding tech business based in Manchester.
This is an incredible opportunity to join one of the world's leading cloud transformation experts. They offer a market leading service for some of the countries' most recognised businesses. They are currently growing their European presence, with a view to go international in the near future. They're a business who genuinely value your work/life balance as much as you do and prove this by offering more or less full remote working from day one. You'd be expected to attend meetings in Manchester once a fortnight, but other than that, you've got the opportunity to work fully remotely with some days visiting clients.
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be fully submerged in Cloud technologies and will be providing solutions using a variety of undertakings. You will be fully submerged in projects from start to finished, being exposed to a variety of technologies and software. You'll have the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge, with market leading training and certifications on offer.
Key Skills and experience:
- Cloud experience - (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform/Ansible)
- Containerisation experience (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to write tooling in at least one programming language - GoLang (ideally), Python etc.
- Strong knowledge of Linux
- Database expertise a plus
- Commercial experience building and developing CI/CD pipelines
- Config management tooling
