Senior Oracle DBA / Database Administrator/ Database Engineer , System Batch Processing, Containers, large-scale databases - required to join a global platform engineering team, based in Merseyside

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on challenges in fast paced, agile environments and wants to have an impact on how Platform Engineering has an impact on business.

You will ensure that the systems are performing at optimal performance working closely with infrastructure, application and operations teams, designing and creating Data Platforms of increasing complexity and scope as well as providing support and troubleshooting issues.

* Exgtensive DBA experience - primarily for Oracle

* System Batch Processing

* System performance and monitoring

* Good understanding of containers/container orchestration

* Maintenance and support of large-scale databases

* Relational /non-relational databases

* Automation processes/tools

Salary offered will depend upon experience - this is a permanent role
