We are seeking a SQL DBA to join the Operations team for a leading Wealth Management company based in Central London.
You will have strong SQL DBA skills with 80% on Database and 20% Cloud focus. Core SQL is essential with interest and exposure to Azure and cloud automation, with a confident approach implementing new ideas.
We are working with one of UK's leading independent providers of discretionary wealth management. They offer aware-winning personalized wealth management services that meet the varied needs of over 100,000 account holders, including individuals, charities and pension funds.
Experience in all aspects of database management with versions of MS SQL DBA server up to 2016 and beyond.
Data warehousing - SASS (Analysis Services in Azure preferable)
Administering, managing & maintaining very large databases (4TB+) requiring 24/7 availability.
ETL - SSIS (Data Factory preferable)
Experience working within a CI/CD environment, understanding automated DevOps release management pipelines & next generation tooling (VSTS,etc.)
Good organisational and interpersonal Skills with the ability to work with other teams in order to understand requirements and provide guidance in relation to Microsoft SQL Server.
Ability to produce and maintain accurate documentation and operational reports.
Self-starter who has the ability and experience to set the technical direction
