Internal Communications Assistant, Communications co-ordinator, marketing communications, senior marketing communications, Assistant communications Manager- Berkshire
This is a 12 months contract
This role is responsible for leading the communication of the groups business narrative, in order to deepen motivation and commitment across the region and foster a feeling of 'one team'. Working across all business areas, this position will harness the content creation and messaging expertise of the wider Corporate Communications division to deliver outstanding digital communication.
The position requires someone who is comfortable managing a wide range of stakeholders, including senior European and Japanese management.
Create and manage an annual calendar ensuring key events, activities and initiatives are clearly communicated to the European associate population
Create a strong measurement culture to demonstrate the clear impact of internal communication activities across the region
Coordinate with business divisions and branches to ensure they're internal communications requirements are met
Responsibility for the development and delivery of fortnightly 'Challenge Update' email communication, Monthly 'Compass' sales figures reports and regular Motorsport updates within the racing season. Delivery includes the creation of translated contents, supported by Honda's translation agency.
Create a strong network of contacts within Honda branches in order to create communications that transmit Honda philosophy and commitment to its vision
Amplify key communications and announcements from HM (e.g. President's New Year speech) and HME senior management to ensure understanding throughout the associate population.
Work with Section Manager to ensure adherence to budgets for internal communication activities
Experience of working in a communications team preferable
Strong understanding of the creation of impactful written content to communicate to an internal audience
A passion for creating compelling visual content, with the ability to inspire external teams to create great work
Project planning, management and logistics skills, an eye for detail
Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit
Comfortable with managing stakeholder input from a wide variety of sources and levels within the business, and create strong positive relationships.
Understanding of wider context that Honda Corporate Communication division sits in
Fluency in European languages other than English is a bonus
