I'm working with a technology company at the forefront of virtual reality technology, at an exciting growth stage. This is their first HR hire and we are looking for a great generalist who can help us implement our HR strategy and operations. We have a fantastic team and we would love you to help support our growth.

Job Description

  • Supporting the COO and CEO in the delivery of the People Strategy
  • Running onboarding, drafting and sending out employment contracts
  • Helping to roll out employee training
  • Helping to implement a new benefits package
  • Working with our immigration consultant to help with queries relating to our sponsor licence
  • Supporting managers in the recruitment process
  • Looking after our relationship with our external payroll provider and working with the CFO as and when required
  • Support in the delivery of various strategic HR projects as and when required
  • Ensure efficient and consistent approach across the organisation with regards to HR Policies and procedures
  • Helping with office management and safety procedures post-covid when we fully reopen

Remote working, with travel to our office every 4-6 weeks for team meetings (post pandemic)

The Successful Applicant

  • CIPD Qualified
  • Significant experience operating as an HR Manager (around 10+ years)
  • Be excited about our growing business and using Virtual Reality to connect people
  • Excellent communicator able to build relationships with key stakeholders and people at all different teams/levels in the company
  • Have a good awareness of GDPR and data protection issues
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Expert in Employee Relations and Employment Law, able to deal with casework if it arises
  • The ideal candidate will be a proven CIPD qualified generalist that is looking to work in a fast-paced commercial environment where HR can make a real difference.
