Full Stack React/NodeJS Developer
Full Stack software engineer required to deliver a world-class cloud engineering product using the latest technologies and practices.
I am seeking a software engineer who is looking to specialise in simulation development for the transport industry. You will be the foundation behind providing cutting edge software for the biggest clients throughout the UK.
You will be developing simulation technology allowing you to provide high quality, concise reporting which saves the industry time and tens of £millions per year. You will be a market disruptor and the very best in the field.
You will have the chance to work on a greenfield project to develop software using only best practices from the ground up, with a clear vision, genuine trust and autonomy.
Knowledge of ReactJS, NodeJS, Sass, RESTful APIs and SQL are a must and in addition you will receive an excellent salary, benefits, flexible working and a delivery-focused culture which will keep pace with your ambitions.
Essential
Frontend knowledge of ReactJS, HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript
Highly proficient at state management using Redux
Very comfortable building and consuming RESTful APIs using JSON
Experience building cloud applications using NodeJS & service architecture
Flair and appreciation for UI and creating world-class UX with high attention to detail
Rapid development in an Agile environment
Test-driven mindset, comfortable in continuous integration/delivery DevOps environment
Strong communication skills working in a small collaborative team
Desirable
Any C#.NET experience
Excellent SQL skills
Experience with cloud microservice architecture/containerisation
Used to code reviews, pull requests and design/development guidelines
Interest in emerging technologies and innovation
