I am partnering with an extremely innovative Foodtech start-up who, following receiving A-series funding, is looking to build their in house development team from scratch! Because of this, their first critical hire is an Engineering Lead.
They are looking for a highly efficient and innovative individual, who has a track record of leading development divisions, to define and implement the product roadmap in line with the overall business strategy. This will include the following responsibilities:
Design, develop and manage platforms from MVP to an own solution
Architecture, cloud infrastructure, Testing, UX design, coding and code reviews, product development, and technology selection!
Building an in house team from the ground up
Because this position is so influential to the future of the business, it is critical that we identify the individual who is not only technically capable, but who would be invested in the business and its product! Never the less, from a technical perspective, this individual will need to have the following back ground:
Is up to date with modern technologies, and current tech trends in the market
Has a background of leading development functions (preferably within a start-up/scale-up environment)
The ability to attract and retain tech talent for the business
Has been involved in building customer facing products previously
Comfortable working within a dynamic and demanding environment
Is tech obsessed!
