An experienced Business Systems Analyst is required by an award winning, global company located in Bracknell, Berkshire commutable from Reading, Slough, Maidenhead, Woking.

ROLE

You will be acting as a link between external software suppliers and business departments supporting the smooth delivery of system upgrades and enhancements within the company. This involves the initial analysis of business needs and preparation of business cases and requirement specifications, followed by the delivery of enhancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Information gathering, system analysis and business requirements definition
*Evaluating IT solutions to ensure they are designed to meet Business and IT requirements
*Creating and managing release and test plans, which align with business requirements along with the Test Manager
*Change management including raising work requests, liaison with external suppliers, assisting with test and release planning and updating the database
*Identifying and completing configuration change requests
*Development and documenting of process flows within the business in order to identify efficiencies and suggest improvements
*Organising internal requirement gathering workshops and others means to elicit requirements
*Reporting and raising risks and issues in a timely way

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

*Experience in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role
*A good understanding of analysis methodologies, preferably with practical experience of SSADM
*Experience creating user stories as a method to capture requirements
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner to business users
*Experience of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Quality Centre & JIRA, as well as, ideally, some exposure to client server and web technologies, Oracle and SQL Server databases
*Exposure to Document Management systems and workflow is highly desirable though not essential
*Experience working within the financial services, retail or automotive industry, or within a consultancy would be an advantage
*Experience working in an Agile delivery environment is desirable

This is a contract position initially until March 2020 with a planned extension at the end of the financial year.
