Newly created, centralised Bid Team requires a new Bid Manager to service both the direct and indirect channel. You will have a pivotal role in the growth of the business by supporting the sales teams in managing and winning bids.
Your role will be to manage the effective production of proposals (e.g. ITT, RFI, RFQ, RFP) and ensure answers to client questions, defining the conditions for success. You will take ownership of a bid when it comes into the business, project managing it from qualification through to contract award, including value proposition/strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management.
You will have the relevant business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. It's important that you are able to manage the end to end process, coordinating answers from relevant stakeholders and Heads of Departments. The bids will be varied from government public sector framework proposals of about £250k through to more specialist and complex bids for the public sector that would be £multi million revenue generators.
You will be supporting the ICT sales team with hosted and cloud propositions as well as print and document solutions proposals. Experience wit this industry sector would be highly advantageous.
You will possess good IT skills - minimum would be experience with Word and Excel to an advanced level. To begin with there will be limited Powerpoint required but experience with this and any creative experience in design could be added value that you could bringing to the business for the future.
This role will offer fantastic opportunities to progress as you will be joining a fairly flat structure where the plan is to create more senior posts within a couple of years.
