2nd/3rd Line Technical Support Engineer - shifts - Liverpool, Merseyside
2nd/3rd Line Technical Support Engineer - Shift Based - Windows Server, Hyper-V, AD, Exchange, Citrix XenApp, VDI, broad range of Infrastructure and Desktop skills - Liverpool, Merseyside.
You will work as part of a team of Technical Support Engineers who work as escalation points for the service desk. You will also be responsible for the proactive system monitoring across the IT estate and will work on a shift basis.
Hours rotate weekly and are as follows;
Week 1: 0600-1400,
Week 2: Flexi-hours (you can choose the hours you work)
Week 3: 1400-2200 - when you work this shift, you will also be on-call from 10pm-6am , however on average will only receive 1 call per week
Week 4: Flexi-hours (you can choose the hours you work)
An 11% salary uplift is paid for shifts and on call.
What Tech skills do I need?
* Good all round Infrastructure skills at 2nd/3rd Line level
* Windows Server
* Cisco - ideal if you have this
* AD and Exchange / O365
* Microsoft products and platforms
* ITIL or Incident management system knowledge
Salary on offer is £28-35k + 11% for shift allowance and on-call. You will be required to be on site near Bootle. There can be some flexibility to work from home once or twice a week if needed. Please forward your cv for immediate consideration.
