Technology, Diversity & Inclusion
We’re thrilled to announce that the School of Code bootcamp for 2020 is confirmed to start in January, sponsored by West Midlands Combined Authority. Spinks will continue to support as the official talent partner for the programme.
1500 applications were received for the 2020 cohort. After an intensive round of interviews, the 24 bootcampers have now been selected, and we can’t wait to meet them all.
Spinks are proud to have helped 90% of the previous cohort achieve employment and launch their new careers in tech. The Spinks team will be integrated as a point of contact for all bootcampers, providing talks on the tech job market in the Midlands and delivering workshop sessions on CV prep and interview techniques, to ensure the candidates are equipped for a new tech role. We will also be working on behalf of the School of Code to liaise with potential hiring companies interested in taking on fresh new Developers within their business.
We love working with Spinks because they genuinely care about finding people the right jobs, and helping to develop a new pipeline for diverse tech talent. They've proved over the last year that they know their stuff and will support our bootcampers however they can, and they match our ambition to help solve the tech skills gap to help both people and companies grow and thrive.
